Jared Jackson Savage

Jared Jackson Savage, age 42, of Fortuna, MO, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at his home.

Jared was born on January 29, 1982, in Fort Worth, TX. He was united in marriage to Krystle Durbin on October 23, 2003, in Fortuna, MO, and they built a beautiful life together.

Jared was an exceptional carpenter, whose skill and dedication led him to build many homes throughout his career. In recent years, he worked for California Construction Supplies, where his craftsmanship continued to leave a mark. An avid Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals fan, Jared enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, such as fishing, hunting, grilling, and playing golf. He had a passion for mechanics and took great joy in working on car motors. Above all, Jared loved his family deeply and was a devoted husband and father. Christmas was his favorite holiday, and he found joy in making it special for those he loved. Jared also enjoyed getting tattoos and was known for his friendly nature, never meeting a stranger.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Krystle; three children, Aiden Savage (Gabby Griffith) of California, MO, and Brennen and Cailey Savage, both of the home; his mother, Maurica Williams; three siblings, Joshua Savage (Shelby) of Fortuna, Trisha Brown of Sedalia, and Jeremy Peek; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jared was preceded in death by his father, James Richard Savage.

A memorial service to celebrate Jared's life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Fortuna Baptist Church, with Pastor Brad Homan officiating.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Meisenheimer Page-Dady Funeral Home, Tipton, MO.
