Jimmy Jones, age 83, of Stover passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 at his home.
He was born, James Lee, on April 11, 1939 in Port Arthur, Texas.
For work Jimmy traveled all of the United States working as a pipe fitter for the Local 178.
On August 28, 1985 in Port Neches, Texas, he married Loretta Kralina.
Jimmy enjoyed being outdoors. He liked to fish and hunt. He also enjoyed his work and the travel that he was able to do for it. He was a hardworker and a fantastic husband.
In addition to his wife, Loretta, he is survived by three sons; Ricky Jones, Robert "Robby" Jones and wife Deborah, and Jimmy Jones and wife Vickie all of Texas; two brothers, Barty Jones and wife Brenda and Weldon Smith and wife Liz of Texas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by his sister, Lilie Mae Tyson.
In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated. There are no services planned at this time.
