James "Jim" T. Clark, age 81, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at the Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw.
He was born on December 29, 1933, in Canton. Jim was one of eleven children born to Earl and Bess Baker Clark.
He was a graduate of Canton High School and a 1961 graduate of the University of Columbia.
Jim served his country in the United States Air Force.
He retired from the seafood department at Walmart in Sedalia.
Jim was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Sedalia. His faith was a big part of his life. He could recite most any verse, if asked, out of the Bible.
He liked to travel. He enjoyed living in different places. Which gave him the opportunity to meet different people and allowed him to experience many things.
Jim is survived by one son, Jeff Clark and Jeverne of Raytown; two daughters, Kim Foreman and Jeff of Stover and Melissa Lang and Eric of Haughton, LA; four grandchildren, Stefanie Lang, Jasmine Foreman and significant other Austin, Jordan Foreman, and Justis Foreman; one great grandchild, Caysen J Peoples; one brother, Joe Clark and Mary Ellen of Canton; and four sisters, Mary Walden of Las Vegas, NV, Frances Emme of St. Louis, Dorothy Gorrell of Canton, and Marilyn Clark of Louisville, KY.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a still born sibling; two brothers, Clifford and Wane Clark; and two sisters, Marjorie Selb and Margurite Entzeroth.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Sedalia. Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, with Pastor Ted Francis officiating. In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated with inurnment at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery, Calvary Cemetery Addition.
