Helen V. Busch

Helen V. Busch, age 90, of Jefferson City, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Eldon Healthcare.
She was born November 7, 1919, in Proctor, a daughter of Harvey and Josephine Earnest Winingham. Helen was united in marriage to Wm. Elroy Busch, December 21, 1940 in Versailles, and he preceded her in death June 26, 1987.
She was a 1937 graduate of Versailles High School.
Helen was a homemaker. She was a member of the Hickory Hill Baptist Church and served faithfully for 60 years in many different capacities. She was an avid quilter and quilted with the ladies of the Friedens United Church of Christ. She loved to garden and raise flowers. She was a terrific cook, who loved the challenge of a new recipe which she could share with family and friends.
Helen is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Curtis and Bertha Busch, Eugene and Ron and Lynette Busch, Brazito; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Paul Wyrick, High Point and Barbara and Terry Long, Jamestown; a brother-in-law and his wife, Edward and Irene Busch, Eldon; two sisters-in-law, Nora Winingham, Montgomery City and Jerry Winingham, Louisville, Neb. ; eight grandchildren; Cindy Kautsch, Judy Rhoten, Philip Wyrick, Bill Wyrick, Becky Schulte, Marcus Busch, Jamie Long, and Nicole Dedrick, and twenty great-grandchildren, also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jackie Busch, in 1989, four brothers, Wray, Shelby, Earnest and Jim Winingham and one sister, Gertrude Winingham.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 P.M., Sunday, May 30 at the Hickory Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Haider officiating. Interment will be in the Hickory Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 till 2:30 at the Hickory Hill Baptist Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hickory Hill Baptist Bldg Fund.
