Harold C. Christiaansen

Harold C. Christiaansen, age 90, formerly of Russellville, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010 in Appleton, Wisconsin. He was born on August 2, 1920 in Milwaukee a son of the late Edward and Marie (Krummnow) Christiaansen. In February of 1946, he was united in marriage to Evagene Davis; she preceded him in death in 1993. He honorably served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps. during WWII. Harold enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking and going to craft shows with his wife. He will be deeply missed by his children, Sandy Christiaansen and Bob (Ellen) Christiaansen, both of Appleton; grandchildren, Jason (Jenny) Christiaansen, Minnesota, Harris (Krystal) Christiaansen, Cailfornia, and Allison Christiaansen, Iowa, and a sister, Mary Jane Laabs, Mt. Morris, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a sister, Ruth Laabs. Harold will be laid to rest next to his wife in Enloe Cemetery in Russellville at 9:00 A.M. Thursday, December 9, 2010.
