Gregory Stephan Emeterio, age 53, of Versailles, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, June 2, 2014, at Lake Regional Health Center in Osage Beach. He was born July 3, 1960, in San Diego, California, a son of Guiseppe Santana and Lola Maye Grandstaff Emeterio. On April 7, 1979, in Victoria, Missouri, Greg was united in marriage to Reba Jo Wougamon, who survives at their home. He was a 1978, graduate of Hillsboro High School. Greg was an ASE certified Master Automotive Technician. At the time of his death he was employed at Viebrock's Auto Service in Stover, where he had worked for the past six years.
He was a member of the Eldon Congregation of Yahweh. Greg was an auto racing fan, who enjoyed racing with his son. He also enjoyed fishing, watching football and basketball, building his home, riding his motorcycle, but most of all being with his family. In addition to his wife of 35 years, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Greg, Jr. and Tenesha Emeterio of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott and Martha Frazier of Florida and Bryan and Valarie Frazier Sims of Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Melody and Mark Kuehl of Missouri; two grandsons, Camaron Emeterio and Brandon Allen, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Greg was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Melvin Reginald Sims. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 6, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover with Rev. Don Miller and Don Mayhew officiating. Interment will be in the West Lawn Addition of the Versailles Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 6, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover.
