Gloria E. Comstock

Gloria E. Comstock, age 76, of Gravois Mills, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Katy Trail Clinic in Versailles. She was born May 11, 1937, a daughter of Leonard and Mabel Irvine. On February 11, 2011, she married Herbert Comstock who survives at their home. She was employed as an aid at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover and also worked at the Dairy Queen in Laurie. She attended the Locust Baptist Church south the Versailles. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Samuel Owens of St. Clair; two daughters, Gayle Hinkle of Versailles and Barbara Hays of St. Clair; two stepdaughters, Carla Hersemann and Rita Burnett all of Versailles; eight grandchildren and two step grandsons. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 11, at the Locust Baptist Church, with Bro. Dallas Moritz officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Gloria Comstock memorial fund.
