Geneva M Davis

Geneva M. Davis, age 82, of Stover, passed away Thursday, December 03, 2015 at the Golden Age Living Center.
She was born April 27, 1933, in Heber Springs, AR, a daughter of Rufus and Sally Williams Pearce. On December 23, 1953, in Heber Springs, AR, Geneva was united in marriage to C.J. Davis, who preceded her in death on August 30, 2006.
She was a devoted wife and mother, busy raising her two children. She also enjoyed traveling, camping and being with her friends and family. She especially loved digging for crystals and rocks. When the weather was nice, you would find her out in her yard or garden tending her flowers or plants.
Geneva is survived by one son, Mickey Davis and wife Cheryl of Stover; one daughter, Belinda Hicken and husband Ron of Smithton; four grandchildren, Amber Love and husband George, John Davis, Andria Gibb and husband Jesse, and Jessica Mooneyham and husband Chad; and eight great grandchildren, Gabbie, Fatima, Arley, Lexi, Ashton, Paisley, Zadie, and Zane.
Along with her parents and her husband, Geneva was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Pearce.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Inurnment will follow immediately after the service. Pastor Jack Wieland will be officiating.
