Frieda Hilda Marie Buchta

Frieda Hilda Marie Buchta, age 76, of Russellville, passed away Friday morning, September 19, 2014, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born April 27, 1938, in Linn, a daughter of Paul and Marie Wilbers Moeller. On July 25, 1959, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn, Frieda was united in marriage to Hugo Buchta, who survives at their home.
She was a homemaker, busy raising three girls and working alongside her husband on their farm. She also spent many years caring for local children while their parents were at work.
Frieda enjoyed crafts, working in her garden and watching birds, especially the many hummingbirds that visited each summer.
In addition to her husband of 55 years, she is survived by three daughters, Lina Browner and Barbara Emmerich and husband Mark, all of Russellville and Rebecca Bechtel and husband John of Jefferson City; one brother, Ronald Moeller and wife Patti of Linn; one sister, Gladys Fritchley and husband Tom of Linn; five grandchildren, Jesse and Ethan Browner, Chris Emmerich and Madeline and Abby Bechtel, three great grandsons, Austin, Kaden and Cooper Browner, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Frieda was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Albert Moeller and one sister, Betty Braun.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 22, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville. Interment will be in the Enloe Cemetery west of Russellville.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 21, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
