Fred M House

Fred House, age 66, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at his home in Laurie.
Born March 18, 1949, in Springfield, a son of Charles and Erma Osborne House. On September 9, 1988, Fred was united in marriage to Jane Fitzpatrick in Springfield, MO.
He was a proud Marine and member of multiple VFW posts, American Legion posts, and Elks Lodge #2705.
Fred worked as an electrical engineer for General Electric in Kansas City.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman, who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family
Fred is survived by his wife, Jane House of Laurie; two sons, Fred M. House Jr. of Warrensburg and Corey Fitzpatrick and wife Jennifer of Houston, Mo; three daughters, Christinia Holtzen and husband Darrell of Warrensburg, Shannon Hammer of Kansas City, and Cristina Fitzpatrick of Springfield; five siblings, Regina Amlin of Springfield, Claudia House and husband Paul Randall of Lewisburg, Charles "Bubby" House and wife Linda of Lebanon, Teresa Perry of Springfield, and Larry House and wife Terry of Springfield; thirteen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlene Lemmon.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Springfield, MO. Inurnment will be follow the service at the cemetery with full military honors.
