Felma May Marriott

Felma May Marriott, age 82, of Fortuna, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at her home.
She was born May 31, 1930, in Stover, a daughter of Arva W., Sr., and Maude Cowell Smith. On July 30, 1949, Felma was united in marriage to Coy Marriott, who preceded her in death May 22, 1975.
She was a homemaker, busy raising her children.
Felma was a faithful member of the Tipton First Assembly of God Church.
She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, listening to Gospel music, particularly when her sons were playing and most of all being with her family.
Survivors include four children and their spouses, Debbie and Don Albin of Tipton; Cheryl and Ron Dorsey of Brumley; Lanny and Annette Marriott of Fortuna and Kerry and Fern Marriott of Clarksburg; a daughter-in-law, Darlene Marriott of Versailles; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl Vaughn and Virginia Smith of Versailles and Delbert and Bonnie Smith of Smithton; a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Scott Burnett of Stover; ten grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Melissa; Brian, Adam, Josh, Hannah, John, Lilly and Ian, twelve great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Rhonda Sue Marriott, a son Coy "Gene" Marriott, three brothers, Arva Smith, Jr., Reed Smith and Raymond Smith and three sisters, Fay Abbott, Fern Fischer and Hellen Bell.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover with Rev. Don Schutte officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Chapel Cemetery south of Stover.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home on Monday. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Felma Marriott Memorial Fund.
