Evelyn L. Lehman

July 19, 1920 — April 4, 2015

Evelyn L. Lehman, age 94, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born July 19, 1920, in Moniteau County, a daughter of James R. and Clara B. Remmert Reece. On December 5, 1940, in Jefferson City, Evelyn was united in marriage to Richard S. Lehman, who preceded her in death August 26, 2005.
Evelyn was a graduate of California High School.
She was a homemaker, who stayed busy raising their son and caring for the home place.
She was a faithful member of the Russellville United Methodist Church.
Evelyn and Richard enjoyed being outdoors and looked forward to their camping and fishing trips. She also stayed busy making quilts; piecing and quilting more than forty of them during her lifetime.
Survivors include one son, Robert W. "Bob" Lehman and fiancée Velma Durbin of Lohman; one sister, Ruth Owens and husband Pete of Marshall; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Bernice Buseman and Lucille Bittick.
Services will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 12, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville with Rev. Dr. Royal Speidel officiating. Interment will be in the Enloe Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00p.m. until service time at the funeral home on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Russellville United Methodist Church or the Enloe Cemetery.
