Esther Emma Linsenbardt

July 25, 1919 — May 7, 2012

Esther Emma Linsenbardt, age 92, a lifelong resident of Lohman, died Monday, May 7, 2012, at Heisinger Bluffs in Jefferson City.
She was born July 25, 1919, near Lohman, in Cole County, a daughter of Otto and Hilda Kautsch Linsenbardt. She was baptized July 31, 1919, at the family farm by the Pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church at Stringtown. On March 25, 1934, Esther was confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lohman.
Esther worked for International Shoe and later McGraw-Edison in Jefferson City.
She was a longtime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she served on the flower committee.
Esther had a green thumb, which was evident by the many beautiful flowers growing in and around her home.
Survivors include one nephew, Wayne Linsenbardt of Lohman and several cousins.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Viola Linsenbardt, Lorene Linsenbardt and Helen Koestner and two brothers, Arnold and Arthur Linsenbardt.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lohman with Pastor Edward Merckel officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
