Ervin Earl Huffman, age 75, a longtime resident of Lakewood, Colorado, died Saturday, May 10, 2008, at St. Anthonys Central Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
He was born June 3, 1932, in Versailles, Missouri a son of Oliver and Kathryn Friedley Huffman. He married Stella Marie Harms on September 15, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri.
He served his country in the United States Army.
Earl owned and operated an auto parts store in Denver for 40 years. He enjoyed working at his shop and being with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Marie Huffman of the home, two sons, David Huffman and Michael Huffman and wife Sandra all of Littleton, Colorado; four brothers, Fred Huffman of Denver; Aubrey Huffman and wife Betty of Versailles; Wade Huffman and wife Aretta of Versailles and Vencil Huffman of Columbia, Missouri; one granddaughter, Christa Huffman, also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Norman, Greg, Donald and Cecil Huffman.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 15, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover with Rev. Diane Cutler officiating. Burial will be in the Stover Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Thursday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Parkinson's Association of the Rockies, 1325 S. Colorado Blvd. Suite 204, Denver, CO 80222.
