Elva Lucille Dilley, age 75, of California, formerly of Stover, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born May 25, 1938, in Stover, a daughter of Dorsey Woodford and Flossie Jane Goans Webb. On April 13, 1990, in Miami, Oklahoma, she was united marriage to Fred K. Dilley who survives at their home.
Lucille was employed for many years with Smithson's Inc., in Stover, retiring as an inspector.
She was a member of the Stover Baptist Church.
She enjoyed cooking for her family and collecting new recipes to try. She was an accomplished seamstress who loved sewing, especially for her three girls.
Survivors include her husband, Fred of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Kay and Lawrence Phillips of Rocky Comfort; Gloria Ann and Ted Butts of Neosho and Betty Louise and Paul Jenkins of California; one brother and sister-in-law, William "Buzz" and Glenda Webb of Stover; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Nadine and Arnold Knox of Lincoln; Donna Claiborne of Independence and Joann and Gene Schultz of Versailles; seven grandchildren, Shawna Coberley, Brandon Blevins, Jamie Horton, Hailey Bunn, Jared Hogan, Timmy Leach and Philip Leach, fifteen great grandchildren, Matthew Coberley, Emily Talley, Megan Coberley, Ethan Coberley, Alex Blevins, Caden Blevins, Makenzie Horton, Kassandra Bunn, Lilli Lahman, Ian Lahman, Evan Lahman, Baylee Hogan, Madison Leach, Braylen Leach and Emma Leach, two great-great grandsons, Lane and Chase Talley, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Dorsey "Buck" Webb, one granddaughter, Cassandra Ann Hogan and one great granddaughter, Maycen Coberley.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, at the Stover Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Smith officiating. Interment will be in Stover Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time on Friday at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
