Dorsey Lee Caviness

Dorsey Lee (Buster) Caviness, age 75, of Versailles, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at his home in Versailles surrounded by his wife and immediate family. He was born August 31, 1946, in Versailles, son of the late Jess and Esther Caviness.
On June 5, 1975, in California, Missouri, he was united in marriage to his surviving wife, Brenda Caviness. He was preceded in death by his son, James Caviness. He is survived by his daughters Carol and Ginger, grandchildren Alex, Evan, Jesse, Zoe and survived by children from a previous marriage Tamara, Dorsey Jr., and Melissa along with their children and grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Evelyn Sue and Ruth Ann. He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers Stanley, Rick, and Bob.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Versailles Cemetery with full military honors.

Arrangements are under the care of the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Versailles.
