Dorothy Strutton, age 82, of Stover passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at her home.
She was born August 3, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri to Warren Mitchel Snow and Bernice Frances (Rhodes) Massey.
Being a hard worker, Dorothy worked for Western Envelope for thirty-seven years. To keep busy later in life she opened the Osage Village Market in Ivy Bend.
When she wasn't working, Dorothy filled her day with crocheting and scrolling through Facebook and Tik Tok. On occasion, she liked going to the boat to see if she could win some money. The most important thing in her life was her family and she loved to spend time with them.
Left to carry on her legacy is her son, Raymond Strutton of Puyallup, Washington; two daughters, Cheryl Scott and husband Dale and Doddie Boss all of Stover; one brother, Lloyd Snow and wife Sandy of Auburn, Indiana; two sisters, Donna Williams of Kansas City, Missouri and Shirley Lawson and husband Bob of Riverside; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; a best friend, Linda Oerhke; two awesome pals, Mike Jones and Wayne Garrison; along with a dedicated grandson, Wylliam Deveney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, three sisters; and one great grandson, Brayden Morris.
A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover. Burial will be in the St. Paul Methodist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Paul Methodist Cemetery, south of Stover.
