Dorothy May Rowles

Dorothy Rowles passed away June 2, 2015 at Tipton Oak Manor, Tipton Missouri of natural causes. She was born and raised in Bunceton, Missour, also where she met and married Willard Warren Rowles in 1938. During her life her passions were her family, the farm, and she was known for her pies.

Dorothy is survived by her sister Bertha Easton of Texas, sons James Ray of Springfield, MO and Gerald Wayne and his wife Mary Lee of Tipton, MO. She has five grandchilden, Ken and Sheryl Rowles, Tony and Cynnamon Rowles all of Tipton; Kelly and Chris Miller of Springfield; Stacy and Brooks Simpson of North Liberty, IA; and Jill Rowles of Anaconda, MT. Including 10 great grandchildren Amy Williams, Jessica Rowles, Kayla Rowles, Alan Rowles, Kyle Rowles, Ryan Simpson, Katelyn Simpson, Clayton Hester, Tricia Hester, Haley Davis and one great-great grandson Kade Rowles. Those who preceded her in death are her beloved parents Ida and Delbert Ray York, husband Willard, brothers Robert Ray York of Kansas, John Henry York of Washington and her sister Kathryn Davis of Kansas.

Visitation of our Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 5, 2015 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home, Tipton, MO with services to follow at 11:00 AM by Brooks Simpson.
