Doris L. Campbell Hartman

Doris L. Campbell Hartman, age 94, formerly Stover and Sweet Springs, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Resthaven Convalescent Home in Sedalia.
She was born January 16, 1919, in American Falls, Idaho, a daughter of Knute Sanfred and Verna Lufama Osborn Nelson. Doris was united in marriage to Delbert Frank Campbell in 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1970. She married Raymond E. Hartman in 1976 and he also preceded her in death.
Doris worked at Stride Rite Shoe Factory in Tipton and Town and Country Shoe Company in Sedalia, retiring in October of 1981. She later worked for Home Health, caring for the elderly.
She loved to dance, paint and visit with people. However, her greatest enjoyment came from being with her family.
Survivors include five children, Linda Turley and husband John of Centerview; Jerry Campbell of Australia; Dianne Bindschadler and husband Mike of Smithton; Don Campbell of Stover and Jim Campbell of Kansas City; three sisters, Clara Douglas of Seattle, Washington; Alice Roberts of Clarkston, Washington and Ailene Daniels of Chatteraou, Washington; six grandchildren, Brian, Tamela, Dixie, Travis, Darrell and Hannah, ten great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Doris was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law, Teri Campbell and three sisters, Hilda Grytdal, Bertha Decker and Erlene Edwards.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, May 11, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover, with the family receiving friends from 10:30 a.m. until service time.
Interment will be in the Stover Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Children's Mercy Hospital, the American Cancer Society or Crossroads Hospice.
