Donald Wayne Vollrath, 74, of Hallsville, MO passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023, in Columbia, MO.
Don was born December 7, 1948, to Joe and Lorene (Stoecklein) Vollrath.
Don had a passion for motorcycles and muscle cars. He enjoyed NASCAR and even did some car racing in his younger years. He loved to travel, especially on his bike, to many different places across the country.
Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Vore (Matthew) of Fulton; son, Derick Vollrath (Andrea) of Centralia; three grandchildren, Ava, Jenna, and Mason; three sisters, Joyce Knipp, Janet Young, and Barbara Young; two brothers, James Vollrath and David Vollrath; one sister-in-law, Johnnie Vollrath; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Pete Vollrath and Wilbur Raymond Vollrath and three sisters-in-law, Eunice Vollrath, Jean Vollrath, and Joyce Vollrath.
Prayers of the Rosary will begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pilot Grove, MO with visitation to follow until 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Paulinus Aneke, officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Dixson, Chris Dixson, Corry Dixson, Billy Richards, Peter Carson, and Darin Turner.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church in care of the Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.
