Dianna Mae Flowers

Dianna Mae Flowers, 66, of Lees Summit, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at her residence with her family at her side. She was one of 7 children born to Robert T. and Velma Green in Boonville, Missouri.

Dianna was a graduate of Pilot Grove High School Class of 1969. She attended Nichols Career Center in Jefferson City becoming an LPN and entering her career in nursing.

She moved to Lees Summit in 1987 where she raised her family and later 3 of her grandchildren. She was a member of the Pilot Grove Baptist Church and attended the Abundant Life Christian Church in Lees Summit. She enjoyed reading, working word puzzles, dancing and going camping.

Dianna was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Charles and Clarence Green; sister Lavern Williams.

She is survived by son Shawn Flowers and his wife Tammy of Lees Summit; daughters Dawn Flowers of Kansas City and Stacey Columbus and her husband Ed of Stockton, Missouri; grandchildren Loren, Alexis, and Brooke Renfro, Erika and Eddie Columbus, Shawn Flowers Jr., and Abby Flowers; step-grand-daughter Becca Underwood; brothers Gerald Green and his wife Sherry of Strafford, Missouri, Roger Green and his wife Linda of Pilot Grove, Gary Green and his wife Marla of Boonville; nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM January 3, 2017 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove with burial following in the Pilot Grove City Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service beginning at 12 PM.
