Delores Elizabeth Bardwell

Delores Elizabeth Bardwell, age 74, of California, MO, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, at Jefferson City Manor. She was born at in Tipton, MO on September 12, 1950, a daughter of Andrew and Mary (Elmlinger) Yoest, who preceded her in death.

While working at the Shoe Factory in Tipton, Delores met Richard Lee Bardwell, whom she married on September 18, 1971. They were blessed with a daughter and a son and spent over 30 years of their married life together living in Tipton. Delores worked for the Department of Revenue, Weber Shoe Company, and Tipton Oak Manor. She enjoyed word search books and spending time with her family. She was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving Delores are her son, William (Billy) Bardwell and his wife Casey of Jefferson City, MO; daughter, Patricia C. Taylor and her husband Matthew of California, MO; brothers, John Yoest and wife Chanry of Tipton and Dan Yoest and wife Guin of Washington, MO; sister, Andrea Tilbury and husband J.W. of California, MO; brother-in-law, Mark Bardwell and wife Rosemary and sister-in-law, Linda Bardwell, all of California, MO; grandchildren, Anthony Stephen Pace and Joshua Matthew Taylor; great grandchildren, Dylan Jones, Jade Pace Johnson, Hunter Toebben, Liam Marshall and Camden Pace.

In addition to her parents, Andrew and Mary Yoest and husband, Richard Lee Bardwell, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Kathy Eason and brother-in-law, Gary Bardwell.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Delores' life at Annunciation Catholic Church in California, MO. The visitation will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., with Father Anthony Viviano officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery in Tipton.

Pallbearers are Anthony Stephen Pace and Joshua Matthew Taylor.

Memorials for Delores are suggested to St. Andrew Catholic Church.
