David "T.D." Rowlands

David Dean “T.D.” Rowlands, 67, of Tipton, passed away Saturday evening, April 1, 2023, at his home.

He was born March 18, 1956, in Portland, OR, son of Donald Rowlands and Lenora June (Woods) Rowlands.

T.D. was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the end of the Vietnam War as an Airborne Reconnaissance Ranger. He did odd jobs over the years, including lawn care, working in the shipyard, and with the carnival. He enjoyed building model airplanes and was president of the Sabres R/C Club. He also enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles.

Survivors include six children, Shawnna, Cheyenne, Summer, Sharon, Larry and James; his father, Donald; his partner of 16 years, Eva Brown; adopted daughter, Rita; and grandson, Travis.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca; and mother, Lenora.

A Celebration of T.D.’s life will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Tipton City Park.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
