Danny Ray Kasper

Danny Ray Kasper, age 60, of Tipton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at home.

One of three sons, Danny was born April 18, 1958 in Fort Riley, Kansas to Dean E. and Lora Willene Kasper. He graduated from high school in Tipton in 1976 and continued his education at the University of Missouri where he achieved Bachelors' degrees in various disciplines in 1985. After graduating from college he moved to Kansas City and worked in sales at Macy's. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia and had various positions in sales while living there. Danny hosted an Olympic family gathering during the 1994 Olympics. Since he was an excellent cook, the food was a big part of the enjoyment and his surroundings were also pleasant because of his great interest in horticulture.

Danny moved back to Columbia where he was employed by Dillard's and excelled in retail sales of men's fashions. He eventually transferred to a Dillard's store in Kansas City and remained in the Independence area until moving back to Tipton two years ago.

Danny's father, Dean E. Kasper preceded him in death.

Those surviving Danny are his mother Willene Kasper of Tipton, Missouri; brothers Wayne Lee Kasper of Tipton and Larry Dean Kasper (Charles Harris) of Independence, Missouri; nieces Heather Johnson of Jefferson City, Missouri and Angel Geiser (Kenneth Geiser) of California, Missouri; nephew Warren Kasper of Marshall, Missouri; three great nieces. Reagan Johnson, Taylor Geiser and Lauren Belle Geiser; two great nephews, Ryland Johnson and Jordon Geiser.
