Courtney Sue Arnold, age 49, of Stover passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at her home.
She was born November 13, 1970 in St. Joseph a daughter of Charles "Sonny" and Carol Elton Pendleton.
Courtney was a 1989 graduate of Stover High School.
On March 21, 2008 she was united in marriage to Christopher Arnold at the Stover United Methodist Church. Chris survives at their home.
She worked for Wal-Mart, Dixon Ticonderoga, and Gates all located in Versailles. Quality Quilting in Stover. At the time of her death she was employed as a Cook for the Morgan County R-1 School in Stover.
She liked doing puzzles, crafting and gardening; even if she couldn't get anything to grow. She enjoyed going to Branson, especially taking in the shows at the Sight & Sound Theater. However, her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and being able to love on her grandkids.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her parents, Sonny and Carol Pendleton of Stover; three children, Chantel S. Estes and husband Joshua of Cole Camp, Taylor G. Stanley and fiancee Riley Whittle of Gravois Mills and Cheyenne D. Richardson and husband Randall of Versailles; three siblings, Elizabeth Garvin and husband Pat of Wayne, Nebraska, Gayle Webb and companion Pam Garber of Versailles and Charles "Chas" Pendleton and wife Chelsea of Stover; eight grandchildren, Aleigha, Kasey, Chance and Zachary (Step-Grandson), Lexi (Step-Granddaughter) Estes, Lyla Jane Stanley and Payton and Stetson Richardson; along with nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers: Taylor Stanley, Chas Pendleton, Colton Pendleton, Anthony Munsell, Jayse Munsell, and Ashton Munsell.
Honorary pallbearers: Charles “Sonny” Pendleton, Aleigha, Kasey, and Chance Estes, Payton and Stetson Richardson, Lyla Stanley, Clayton Pendleton.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Monday, May 4, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. in the Stover Cemetery.
