Cheryl Lynn Davis, age 63, of Stover, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, May 4, 2017, at University Hospital in Columbia.
She was born September 6, 1953, in Hannibal, Missouri the only child of Roy L. and Frances M. Vogler Jones. On December 23, 1976, Cheryl was united in marriage to Mickey Davis, who survives at their home.
Cheryl was a homemaker, busy raising her two children. She also worked at various jobs throughout her life, most recently with a dry cleaning business.
She was an avid reader, especially horror novels by Stephen King and various romance novels. Until her health failed her, she looked forward to shopping with her daughter and most recently watching her favorite shows on TV. Cheryl’s greatest enjoyment in life came from being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 40 years, she is survived by two children and their spouses, John Davis and Honey of Kansas City and Amber Love and George of Sedalia; four grandchildren, Lexandra, Gabbie, Fatima and Arely, along with other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Reception will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover. Graveside services will follow in the Stover Cemetery.
