Carl William Sidebottom

Carl William Sidebottom, age 85, of Stover, died Thursday, February 25, 2010, at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover.
He was born August 7, 1924, in Proctor, a son of Dewey W. and Erma Davidson Sidebottom.
Carl was worked for Purina (now Cargill) and retired from the Morgan County R-I School District, both located in Stover.
He enjoyed the times he could go fishing and hunting.
Survivors include four sons, Larry Sidebottom of Cameron; Kenny Sidebottom of Oklahoma; Ronnie Sidebottom of Cameron and Terry Sidebottom of Cameron; three daughters, Linda Taylor of Rich Hill; Teresa Sidebottom of Kansas City and Sherry Sidebottom of Missouri; one brother, Jim Sidebottom and wife Jeanie of Stover; two sisters, Elpha Gillispie of Excelsior Springs and Mary Ellen James of Versailles; also several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Roy Sidebottom and two sisters, Annie Cicala and Opal Meeks.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 2, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover with Bro. Fred Stamps officiating. Interment will be in the Stover Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 2, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover.
