Brent Alan Mattern

Brent Alan Mattern age 33, of Columbia, died Sunday, December 12, 2010, at the University Hospital in Columbia.
He was born July 1, 1977, in Jefferson City, a son of Barry M. and Linda S. Pittrich Mattern.
Brent was a graduate of Prairie View School in Marshall, Missouri.
He enjoyed going on road trips and to Bass Pro with his dad, especially when they stopped by Dairy Queen for a strawberry blizzard. Brent loved horses, John Deere Tractors, bright colored balloons and new clothes from his mom, grandmother and aunts.
Survivors include his father, Barry Mattern of Holts Summit; his mother, Linda Mattern of Jefferson City; his maternal grandmother, Lola Mae Pittrich of Russellville; one brother, Dustin Mattern of New Bloomfield; also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Coby Mattern.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 14, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville with Rev. Scott Musselman officiating. Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Russellville.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
