Beverly Ann Dostal, age 84, of Gravois Mills passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 at her home.
She was born September 28, 1934 to Steve and Susie Valek Yancik. On August 8, 1953 in Independence at the St. Mary’s Church she married Rudy Dostal.
She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Independence.
Bev worked at Western Electric as a floor manager. She also worked at Whol Shoe Company where it was said she could sell a pair of shoes to anyone. She earned many awards, accommodations, and rings for her service.
Her enjoyments were flea markets, auctions, and garage sales. Bev started dealing in antiques and had the Flickering Flea in Sunrise Beach.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and John Richardson of Ozark; one sister, Carol Brumbaugh of Independence; two grandchildren, Krista Louderback and Kel Louderback; and four great grandchildren, Savannah, Johnathon, Skye, and Clark.
In addition to her parents Bev was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Emil, and Steve Yancik and one sister Ann Magier.
A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles.
