Betty Lou Pulley

Betty Lou Pulley, 79, of Brunswick, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia. She was one of 6 children born to Jesse and Florence Southard in Edwardsville, Illinois.

She moved to Sedalia where she met and later married George Pulley on October 27, 1963. They moved to Dover and then Waverly, Missouri where they lived, worked and raised their family, eventually moving to Lexington then to Brunswick where she lived the past 12 years with her son David and grandchildren.

She enjoyed camping, traveling, spending time with children, grandchildren and other family while reminiscing together.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband George in 2006; brothers Jesse and George Southard; sisters Helen Frazier and Pearl Southard; infant brother Buddy Southard.

She is survived by her children Rose Perkins of Brunswick, Barbara Rector of Richmond, Tom Pulley and his wife April of Edwardsville, Kansas, David Pulley and his wife Holly of Brunswick, Sharon Chaney of Liberty; 19 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Betty Pulley will be 12:00 PM Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove, Missouri with burial immediately following in the New Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the funeral service beginning at 11 AM.
