Archie Hansen

Archie "Art" Hansen passed away peacefully February 27, 2023 in Olathe, KS.
Born May 9, 1941 in Versailles, MO. Archie enlisted in the Army in 1958, married Lois Palmes
of Versailles, MO in 1962. He also proudly served in the Air Force and Navy. Upon leaving the
military Archie lived the majority of his working life in Edgerton, KS and Gardner, KS as a
machinist and owned his own abrasive blasting business until retirement. He enjoyed fishing,
hunting, reading, listening to the radio, and visiting with family and friends.
Archie was preceded in death by his father Glenn Hansen, mother Jaunita Wood Young, wife
Lois Hansen, and sister Christine Greener. He is survived by daughter Kelly Hansen of
Ashburn, VA, son Clark Hansen and wife Yvonna of Topeka, KS, son Clint Hansen and wife
Darlene of Florida, brother Dale Hansen of Idaho, sister Margret Davidson of Versailles, six
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A visitation for Art will be 11:00 a.m. until 11:40 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover. A graveside service will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday at the Versailles Cemetery.
