Alma Mary Fry

Alma Mary Fry, 86, of Tipton passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was one of four children born to Paul and Clara Orscheln in Tipton.

Alma married Charles Fry on October 11, 1948 and he preceded her in death December 10, 2000 after 52 years of marriage.

Alma was a homemaker and also worked in the office at Co-Mo Electric for many years. She was a member of the St. Andrew's Altar Society. Alma enjoyed traveling , she loved to work in her yard and tend her flowers as long as health permitted.

Alma was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles; sister Lucille Bestgen; and grandson Sean Fry.

She is survived by daughter; Charlene Albin and her husband Ken of Springfield, Missouri; Sons Ted Fry and his wife Mary of Tebbetts, Missouri and John Fry of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren Kurt Albin and his wife Sarah, Caroline Allenbrand and her husband Kyle, Ren&egrave Haeckel and her husband Gus; great-grandchildren Gabe, Mason, and Emma; brother Ron Orscheln and his wife Judy of Olathe, Kansas; sister Mildred Martin and her husband Ray of Tipton; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial for Alma Fry will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tipton with Father Fred Elskamp as celebrant with burial to follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery.

Rosary will be from 9:30 to 10 AM with visitation from 10-11 AM.
