Alice Stucker, age 78, of Stover, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Golden Age Living Center in Stover.
She was born September 30, 1936, in Morgan County, near Stover, a daughter of Audrey and Effie Anduss Gerlt.
On June 23, 1957, she was united in marriage to Raymond Stucker, who preceded her in death June 8, 2010.
Mrs. Stucker was a teacher, beginning her career at Hink School in rural Benton County and retiring from Morgan County R-I school, where she taught kindergarten for many years.
She attended the First United Methodist Church in Sedalia.
Mrs. Stucker was a devoted wife, who enjoyed spending time with her husband, whether it was with him fishing or spending time on the dance floor.
She is survived by three sons, Randy Stucker and wife Nancy of Sedalia; Dean Stucker of Stover and Marcus Stucker and wife Keelie of Plattsburg; seven grandchildren, Jordan and husband Joe, Tim, Jay and fiancée Megan, Seth, Sam, Logan and Cameron, three great grandchildren, Jaidyn, Carter and Tucker, along with other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kenneth Gerlt.
The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover, with a graveside service immediately following in the Stover Cemetery.
