Alice Hutschreider

Alice Louise Elizabeth Hutschreider, age 94, of Russellville, passed away Monday, October 12, 2015, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility in Jefferson City.
She was born April 19, 1921, on the family farm in Russellville, a daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Schoch Strobel.
On May 27, 1943, in Baltimore, Alice was united in marriage to Albert Hutschreider, who preceded her in death February 22, 2003.
She was a homemaker, busy raising her daughter.
Alice enjoyed working in her flower garden and assisting her husband with his vegetable garden. In her early years she did embroidery work, making pillow cases and tea towels. In later years she stayed busy doing word search puzzles. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends and babysitting her "grand pups."
For the past ten years she resided in Jefferson City to be near her daughter.
She was a lifelong member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Hutschreider of Jefferson City; one sister, Laura Moynagh of Jefferson City; a goddaughter, Diane Klug and husband Jim of Jefferson City; a godson, John Meisel and wife Judy of Lohman; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Alice was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Clarence Strobel and two sisters, Hilma Hegg and Lorene Tipton.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville with Pastor Howard Ellis officiating. Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church on Saturday.
