Albert Miesner

October 18, 1966 — October 10, 2014

Albert S. Miesner, age 47, of Stover passed away Friday evening, October 10, 2014, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Russellville.
He was born October 18, 1966, in Sedalia, a son of Merwin and Sue Frisbie Miesner. He was baptized November 6, 1966 and confirmed April 12, 1981, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stover.
On August 19, 2006, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Albert was united in marriage to Cherre Jobe McCullough.
He was a 1985 graduate of Stover High School. Albert attended Missouri Valley College and the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.
For more than a decade he has been employed as a fishery technician with Lost Valley Hatchery in Warsaw.
He was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stover.
Albert was an avid outdoors man, who looked forward to spending time on the lake fishing and being in the woods hunting during deer season. He and his wife had yearly competitions on who could bring down the biggest deer. He also enjoyed spending time coaching his kids on the local youth basketball teams.
Survivors include his wife, Cherre Miesner, six children, Hunter Michelle Miesner, Hunter Reid McCullough, Holly Miesner, Haley McCullough, Hope Miesner and Henleigh Miesner all of the home; his father, Merwin Miesner and a brother, Jimmy Miesner, both of Stover, along with other relatives and friends.
Albert was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Miesner.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 25, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stover.
A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 24, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover with the family receiving friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
