Albert "Bud" W. Jones

Albert "Bud" Jones, age 95, of Eugene, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
He was born May 17, 1917, on the family farm near Eugene, a son of Leonard W. and Marguarite Lochner Jones.
Albert attended the Pleasant Grove school near Eugene.
Albert was a lifelong farmer, working as a dairyman for Kauffman farms in Jefferson City for several years and at a poultry farm in
Cowgill. He also sold apples for a local apple farm, traveling from Cole Camp to St. Elizabeth, and all points in between. In addition to working on the farm, he was employed at Tweedies, International Shoe, Lincoln University and the Missouri State Agency for Surplus Property, all located in Jefferson City.
He was a member of the Hickory Hill Baptist Church near Eugene.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Theodore Jones and three sisters, Velma Opal Silvernail, Hilda Kimzi and Fern Cain.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 22, at the Hickory Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Clyde Leonard officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the church on Friday.
Interment will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Eugene.
