Vicky Cummiskey

Vicky "Grandma" Cummiskey, age 71, of Stover died Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the Capital Region Medical Center surrounded by her family.
She was born on December 27, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia
It was on November 13, 2021, that Vicky married Eric at the gazebo up on the square in Versailles. They had been together since 1997.
Vicky worked in the Deli Department of Paul's Supermarket in Lake Ozark for many years. She later worked at Casey's so she could keep busy. The thing she enjoyed most about working at both places was getting to talk to everyone. She was very social and didn't know a stranger. This earned her the nickname "Grandma", and she wore it proudly.
She enjoyed going to yard sales and garage sales. She has a vast collection of Santa Claus, Maxine memorabilia, and pink flamingos. Her biggest enjoyment was getting to spend time with her family.
Left to carry on her legacy is her husband, Eric; son, Kurt Lee Minner and wife Angie of Florence; one brother, Larry Summerall of Knob Noster; three sisters, Sandra King and husband Doug of Sedalia, JoAnne Mitchell of Stover, and Barbara Payne of Tipton; granddaughter, Haley Allen and husband Sonney of Stover; two great grandchildren, Sunny Brooke Allen and Weslee Allen; along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Sue Summerall and a brother Danny Summerall.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 20, 2023, at the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday.
